I haven't read any books about zombie apocalypse but i have watched the show the walking dead, last of us and the movie world war z.
I would like a book series that has like a gritty grimdark setting with a MC really similar to rick grimes from the walking dead, an actual good zombie creation theory and them evolving(not necessary), really scary zombies (don't have to be called zombie), good side cast, and well written villains
i would really appreciate it if you guys could help as I've had this particular itch for a while
