I’ve been on a “mind-blowing” nonfiction kick lately. Books that have left me with a feeling of wtf regarding topics that most of us have heard of but may not know the full extent of. To put it simply: books that sent you down the rabbit hole.
Just a couple of examples of some of the books I’ve read: Codename Palehorse (memoirs written by a retired undercover FBI agent who specializes in infiltrating white supremacist groups) The Last Girl (a women’s story of her enslavement and escape from ISIS and her life after) Crooked Smile (the story of the authors struggles with addiction and the decade he spent living on skid row) The Long Road Home (the story of the infamous ambush in Sadr city and the rescue mission that followed it. Plus the story of the soldiers families back home). Can’t wait to hear your suggestions.
