I’m 31 and rarely ever read. I loved Harry Potter and Different Seasons by Stephen King. Those are really the only books I look back on and really loved lol. I also liked game of thrones but stopped at 3 cus I watched the tv show already.
I’d love some recommendations, I looked up some and 1984 seemed pretty interesting. I don’t want something super hard to read cus my attention span is that of a 6 year old.

The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells! Fantastic stuff. A tv series based off the first book just finished the first season on Apple TV.
Stephen King has a ton of short story collections that you could look into. I really like “Everything’s Eventual” in particular.
*Dungeon Crawler Carl* by Matt Dinniman
The Expanse! It’s 9 books, plus a collection of short stories. Very well narrated by Jefferson Mayes.
Dungeon Crawler Carl – (Tbh I have not listened to it, but Ive heard nothing but rave reviews, and they say the audio book is especially great.)
Anything by S. A. Cosby. My personal favorite is ‘All The Sinners Bleed’.
I actually really enjoyed “All Good People Here” by Ashley Flowers. Murder mystery that hops between decades and narrators. I was worried bc I have a very hard time listening to books and this one pulled me in.
The new audio editions of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series are really good. You might enjoy those. The guy who narrates PYRAMIDS played Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter movies if that’s a plus for you.
I don’t have a book recommendation, but I had a similar # of extra audible credits and I switched to the one book per month (where the credits do not accumulate) plan for about half the $ and have been happy with it. Spend your extra credits and then switch, after the switch, just maintain a wishlist and buy one of your wishlist items each month. I set a calendar reminder to choose a book, so I don’t miss my window.
I love The Locked Tomb books as audiobooks. They’re brilliantly narrated as are The Dungeon Crawler Carl books.
If you’re looking for something that you’ll end up wanting to listen to again “Wild And Precious” was beautiful and profound
If you’re open to more middle grade fantasy, I recommend [Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/51da4742-ca09-4638-9c93-f13440bff12b) by Jessica Townsend! It’s my favorite series even as an adult, the only one that makes me feel the way the Harry Potter books used to, and the audiobooks are fantastic.
DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL! The books themselves are incredible but the audiobooks are next level. There are currently 7 books in the series and they get better and better as they go.
City of Thieves
Dungeon Crawler Carl is juvenile trash in comparison.
Listen to both and thank me later.
I’ve listened to two audibles this year and I’m not a big fan. Something about listening instead of reading. Definitely will try more because it is very convenient. Might just be something you need to get used to doing
Project Hail Mary has a fantastic audiobook
The inheritance games is a nice series, the percy jackson series, not if I save you first by ally Carter, or the i am number 4 series are good series or books to look into
Glass and Steele series by CJ archer. All CJ archer books tbh
Check out S A Cosby, I bet you’d dig his stuff
Project Hail Mary.
I love to read, and can sometimes read a book in a few days if it’s really good, but mostly just read about 30 pages a night, and take a couple weeks.
I read this book in a day! I seriously could not put it down. It was so good!
While I read the physical copy, everyone always recommends the audiobook. So I’d give it a try for sure.
Plus, if you like it, they’re making a movie of it that comes out next year.
