When I was younger I was always reading. Couldn’t get me to put them down. Even though we couldn’t afford buying them often, I’d run to the book section to look around while my parents shopped for groceries. The library became one of my favorite place. Over the years I stopped but I’m finally getting back to it and I’d love some fiction recommendations.
Here’s what I’ve read and loved in the last few months:
I just finished Babel by R.F. Kuang and will probably pick up Katabasis.
I recently read the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and had previously read the Night Circus by the same author. The last one this year was The invisible life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
After reading these I realized that Ive missed the range of emotions and beautiful imagery you get from reading.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Cloud Cuckoo Land by Andy Doerr
I loved the Scholomance series by Naomi Novik, a cool world but be aware it is on the darker and gritting side.
Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson is an amazing world.
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell is an extremely magical wistful world i wish I could revisit!!!
The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard stays with you long after the last page.
My other recommendation is The Vanishing Birds by Simon Jimenez.
