Getting a “non-reader” to read…

So my husband swears he “doesn’t read,” but I managed to get him hooked on audiobooks. He absolutely loved Ready Player One and Ready Player Two. We tried Armada… yeah, not the same magic.

He’s a big gamer (Destiny is his main obsession, but he’ll play stuff like the new Battlefield too). He’s also into Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and comic books. Basically, nerd stuff is his jam.

I’ve seen people mention series like Dungeon Crawler Carl, but I’m not sure if that would land for him or just make him roll his eyes.

Any audiobook/book recs that might trick him into admitting he actually likes reading?
