I’ve found some major plot holes!
1. Hudson, who’s also Jay, picks up Addie and Eve. The book says someone (probably Eve) called Hudson while driving Addie, but when Eve calls, she doesn’t mention him not answering at first. Instead, he picks up right away! And also he picked up eve and Addie at same time so it’s obvious that eve was calling her at that time
2. After almost dying twice, Eve decides to plot her husband’s murders instead of getting any medical help
3. Addie confesses everything — how she and others killed Eve. The detectives have a potential murder on their hands. But suddenly, Eve just walks back in, very much alive… and instead of digging deeper into the lies and confusion, the detective simply shrugs and drops the case. No follow-up. No questions. Case closed because… she’s alive now?
4. Nate is murdered yet the moment Eve comes back to life, it’s like the whole world forgets about him. No one bothers to ask where Nate went, why he disappeared, or who killed him. The detective doesn’t even try to investigate. One person returns, and the other is just… erased from the story.
5. Jay is clearly mentioned as a married man by Eve but later revealed in the plot that he is a minor.
I am sorry but this thriller was not clever writing if it was these plot holes would not exist
