Preferably in a Sci-Fi context. I've been looking for book with competent leadership for a while now and this is the best I've found so far.
I'm looking specifically for emotionally intelligent leaders who make educated and fair decisions without being an omniscient Mary Sue.
Can be protagonist or background charakter, m/f/x, not relevant.
I've read so many books/seen so many show that portray sadistic governments who exploit their citizens that I'm completely oversaturated by it.
