I really like reading Kundera, Vonnegut, Houellebecq (I know), Murakami, Bukowski, Camus, Sartre, etc., but after finishing Stoner by John Williams I’m not sure where to go next. It was… amazing, and it touched me in a way that is hard to describe, like feeling a sense of mortality and beauty at the same time. The shared experience of life in a short novel. I’ve had this feeling before like at the end of Immortality by Kundera. I want to feel it again. Any suggestions?
