Every year we get together for the holidays (end of November/December). A few years back I started buying books for everyone and made a white elephant variant. All the books are wrapped the same so people have no idea what book it might be, they can “steal” from someone who already unwrapped a book or pick from the pile. It’s been a hit.
Usually I follow along to see what books people on the internet are reading and talking about consistently throughout the year. This year I slacked off and don’t have the foggiest idea so I’m reaching out to you fine folk.
Give me your best random reads (15 of them)! I’m looking for everything from graphic novels to nonfiction to horror to romance.
Bonus points if there’s a common theme!
Last year’s theme was misleading titles and the title was on the wrapping paper for a “Don’t judge a book by its cover” aspect. These were some of the books- Carmilla, Action Park, The Wager, Demon Copperhead, Lessons in Chemistry, Project Hail Mary, Not Forever But For Now, Book Lovers, Typhoid Mary, Circe, Mort, This Is How You Lose The Time War
