i want to read a book that's literally just about like a woman's quiet life with a bakery or shop or something, with a nice aesthetic. but no fucking romance if that even exists. i literslly bought the pumpkin spice cafe bc i thought it was what i was looking for and the random page i opened it to, it started talking about fingering and having sex on the beach. so any books like with an aesthetic quiet vibe exist without romance or sex? my god😭

It might have a bit more going on than you’re looking for, but a wizards guide to defensive baking is about a lady who just wants to bake at her bakery, but gets dragged into some magic shenanigans. It definitely has a cozy vibe, centres on bakery based things, and I’m pretty sure there is no romance, but I can’t 100% guarantee it cause it’s been a bit since I read it, but I don’t remember any.
