• The Passion of the New Eve by Angela Carter
• Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino
• The Threepenny Opera by Berthold Brecht
• Tales of Glass Town, Angria, and Gondal by the Bronte siblings
• Foe by J.M. Coetzee
• Waterloo by Bernard Cornwell
• Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco
• The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy
• Gravity's Rainbow by Tomas Pynchon (I started this when I was younger but never finished it due to life happening)
• The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie

I also love recommendations based on these titles, but they will go on the long list because I need to make progress on my unread shelf right now.
