I started reading The Golden Notebook by Dorris Lessing 14 years ago. I just finished it (don’t worry I re-read the first half again). At the age of 37 and as a mother I understood it and related to the protagonist so much. In my 20’s I just didn’t get it. At all.
This got me thinking about what other books are out there that I might have tried to early or might have missed the window on!
Any ideas?
