I love a good Tudor/Renaissance style book. My issue is how bloody picky I can be. I know there’s Allison Weir and Philippa Gregory, but they don’t always do “it” for me. Sometimes I like fictional retellings of historical figures (almost like an autobiography), I like the YA stuff, and I like something with at least a bit of historical backbone even if they take a creative license. Favorite figures are Anne of Cleves, Catherine of Aragon, Mary I, Margaret Pole, Christina of Denmark, Anne of Brittany—less heard of ones. I also like ones where certain rotten kings get poetic justice. I know that’s a bit of a tall order haha. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
