Hello redditors, 34 years old italian NEET with cronic pain here. I have always been curious about the brain, the nervous system and the human body in general and after 14 years of cronic pain I think the time has come for me to learn more about it, the right way.

I know that i can't start willy nilly with some neurology book and hope to fully understand it , so where do you think i should start?

I studied linear algebra, physics , calculus and a little of non organic chemistry in college so this is a completely new field for me.

I'm not interested in self help books nor "the human body for dummies" and all the like, I want proper textbooks but since i know that there's no magical "3000 pages book with exactly the right informations for you", here I am. I already found some suggestions on line but only on singular topics .

Sorry for my english , i hope i have been clear in my request
