Hi everyone, I'm 2 weeks postpartum and is in search of books that are warm and cozy. For more context, I love Backman books, Midnight Library and romance books with the right amount of spice (there aremore books i love, but these are the kind of ones I'm looking for rn) I am very prone to postpartum anxiety and don't want any reccos that would trigger it. Ideally looking for sth i can read during feeds that will keep me calm and want to read more so that i do not dread the night wakeups. Would appreciate if y'all could help me 🙂

Also postpartum and I needed ANY book that could keep me awake in the middle of the night. I liked The Lost Bookshop by Elvie Woods. I also read tons of cheesy romances (lots of Emily Henry lol). I really like Kristin Hannah books but those may be a bit intense if you’re avoiding anxiety.

    2. Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldtree is a cozy fantasy read that my sister loved during her post partum convalescence. There are I think 3 books out in the series but I have only read the first so far.

    3. Maybe some of the Bob Mayer and Jennifer Crusie books? Funny, heartwarming, a little love, a little mystery.

New Girl in Little Cove by Damhnait Monaghan, Emily Henry books, The Bookshop of Second Chances by Jackie Fraser, Bridget Jones Diary (all of the books), Nina Stibbe’s novels, esp. Man at the Helm, are very funny, if you’re into that. I totally went through this postpartum as well! I just wanted happy reads 🙂
