I was watching the Rifftrax of the movie “When a Stranger Calls Back,” and one of the riffs was that it’s too bad the home invader is interrupting the babysitter’s “single white female” plans.
That made me wonder if there are any books (or movies) where such a thing really happens: one villain has a whole plan laid out, and then a second villain comes along, completely unrelated to the first, interrupting it all, and they have to deal with each other. I can’t think of any.

For non-horror, the comedy action movie Hot Pursuit, with Reese Witherspoon.
I can’t think of any books off the top of my head.
