I love dystopian fiction (1984, Stepford Wives, Uglies..), and I really loved Dry by Neal and Jarrod Shusterman. The visceral imagery, the heart-pounding pacing, the real possibility that something like that could happen…the only part I didn’t love was (spoiler) >! that they pulled the punch at the end !<
I’d like to read something similar. Something with stakes. Something dystopian I’ll be thinking about for a long time afterwards.
