So the title is pretty self explanatory, but it's been a year and I still haven't found a book that made me feel as emotional and understood as A Little Life by Hanya.
I've heard people telling me about Hanya's other books and they didn't bring me any of those feelings tbh.
I need something to make me feel like this book did because it was truly an emotional and relatable ride to me. (I also listened to the audiobook, absolutely gut wrenching)
Pleeease I'll accept any recommendations! 😭
Thanku!

Full disclosure – I didn’t read A Little Life. It’s exactly the kind of book that does not interest me. However, the hype and discourse around it reminds me of She’s Come Undone and I Know This Much is True, both by Wally Lamb. You might check those out.
