I stole my mom’s kindle and went through her library. I wanna know some good books to get her based on some of these she’s read as her birthdays coming up. Please recommend some!
These are a handful of books she’s read:
- American Dirt (she loved this one)
- The Tattooist of Auschwitz
- The Doctors Daughter
- The Bookseller of Dachau
- The Women of Arlington Hall
- Five Chimneys
- Telegram For Mrs. Mooney
- The Girl on the Boat
- The Titanic Sisters
- Black Fox One
- The Family Behind the Walls
- The Sisters of Auschwitz
- Boy 30529
Books I was looking at to possibly get her:
- The Book Thief – Markus Zusak
- All the Colors of the Dark – Chris Wittaker
- The Women – Kristin Hannah
- A Song of Silence – Steve N Lee

Heartwood
Remarkably Bright Creatures
The Women’s Orchestra if Auschwitz. It’s just been released so I haven’t read it myself yet.

Definitely The Book Thief!
And Travelers in the Third Reich by Julia Boyd.
Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum for sure aligns with her WWII era theme (& is one of my 2 favorite books).
I don’t have a suggestion but I just want to say I love that you stole her Kindle to find her a book. I think that kind of consideration is very sweet.
