So I'd been reading a lot of Austen and as enjoyable as that was, I needed a good old romance with actual physical affection. I happened upon the night circus and read it, not knowing much other than it was a slow burn romance. It turned out to be a bit too slow and way less burn. The book overall is very nice and descriptive, which I like, though I only wish the romance was written better. I get that them creating tents for each other were each other's way of learning and feeling each other and I didn't want it done any differently, it's just that I needed more.
My point is, finally, that I would like to read something similar but better, well written, kind of that soulmate / bound to each other concept (bonus points if they're each other's firsts and I don't mind spice as long as it's not overdone and written tastefully (but still creative ykwim).
Any recommendations?
