Please suggest me a fantasy book with an old school feel
I recently finished Aching God and it made me miss the old days of Elric and Conan when heroes adventured rather than politicked and the gods were ancient and eldritch. Is there anything like that around these days? TIA
The most recently written books that I can think of that had that old-school feel was the Lords of Dûs series by Lawrence Watt-Evans (_The Lure of the Basilisk_, _The Seven Altars of Dûsarra_, _The Sword of Bheleu_, and _The Book of Silence_).
His Ethshar books are also interesting, but they have more of the feel of 80s fantasy, if you know what I mean.
