I know the controversy over this book not actually being a true memoir. It now has a publishers note stating a lot is embellished or invented by the author.
That said, would you recommend it? I like fiction and nonfiction books about psychological, psychiatric, neurological struggles.

I remember reading it, being completely enthralled by it, and then not really caring when I found out it was heavily embellished (or perhaps it was straight up BS), because I had enjoyed it so much.
With that said, I was a teenager when I read it.
