    1. The autobiographies of Elias Canetti and Emma Goldman, though so far they’re the only ones that I’ve read but they’re good.

I’ve read soooo many. I love them. There are millions of cool memoirs out there. and I don’t read anything not written by the person who wrote it. which is autobiography.

Just in the last few years I’d say Matthew Perry’s autobiography was one of my favorites. His voice came through loud and clear and his view of his and others addictions was one of the more real I’ve ever read. His death, after reading is book, did not come as a surprise.

Will Smith’s book was fascinating in part for the inside look at early hip hop and the industry around it. And also at the movie industry. Super interesting. I just wish he would have written it after “the slap” lol. It came out not long before that.

There is a Native American author named Sherman Alexie who is best known for the book “Smoke Signals” which was made into a movie. But his memoir “you don’t have to say you love me” is in my top 100 memoirs of all time. However, it’s an unusual writing style and maybe not for everyone.

“My Secret Life Inside Scientology” by Jenna Miscavige-Hill is also in my top 100. She’s the niece of the man who controls scientology.
