I've read We Ride Upon Sticks but now I want something different, I don't want another story set in the Northeast, so I went to check out some recommendations.
But they're all about either about the AIDs epidemic or Cocaine sniffing yuppies parting everynight
penguinrandomhouse's books-set-in-the-1980s
bookriot's books-set-in-the-1980s
electricliterature's 8-books-to-take-you-back-to-the-1980s
I didn't like most recommendations in these three lists. Is it really so uncommon to finds something a bit more wholesome during the 1980s!?
