I recently got my library card, and have been reading a lot more books lately, primarily with libby and hoopla. In the past couple months, I've been devouring memoirs/biographies lately. My favorites lately have been:
-Making Rumours by Ken Caillat (highly recommended if you enjoy mother music industry and/or Fleetwood Mac)
-About Face: The Life and Times of Dottie Ponedel, Make-up Artist to the Stars by Dorothy Ponedel, Danny Miller, Meredith Ponedel
– This Much Is True by Miriam Margoyles
– A Harvest of Innocence: The Untold Story of the West Memphis Three Murder Case by Tom McCarthy, Dan Stidham
-Semi-Well-Adjusted Despite Literally Everything by Alyson Stoner
-I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jenette McCurdy
-Sorry Not Sorry by Naya Rivera
-The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule
So, memoirs pop culture, and true crime… really anything that tells a good story that doesn't require suspension of belief due to fantasy. Don't get me wrong, I love fantasy and things of that nature, but I'm in a memoir mood. Any recommendations? I appreciate it very much!

My Sergei by Ekaterina Gordeeva. It’s incredible
Hypocrite in a Pouffy White Dress – LOL funny and definitely a ton of pop culture!
Glass Castle is really good, but depressing. Same with “Lit”, a memoir of a woman dealing with alcoholism as a mother.
Educated is excellent if you like reading about the fallout of high control religions.
Hope some of these are up your alley!
I absolutely loved Jane Fonda’s autobiography, My Life So Far. Highly recommend.
Making it so by Sir Patrick Stewart
Just Kids – icon Patty Smyth memoir
Blood, Bones & Butter – Gabrielle Hamilton memoir of being a NYC chef, but also a really interesting life
The Glass Castle – one of the best memoirs ever
Crying in H Mart – sad but good – korean mother/daughter drama
We will be jaguars
