I’m interested in books that involve being in a predestined final battle like Ragnarok. It could be part of a series or maybe a character who knows what happens to the heroes that gets teleported or transported into the hero’s world and tries to prevent their deaths.
It’s been a weird fantasy of mine lately to be the battle of Ragnarok and be friends with the Norse gods or in a scenario like that with similar heroes, bit like a fanfiction self insert own character. Whether I succeed or not or find out I am helpless to prevent destiny but am able to do at least something to ensure the calamity event is salvaged is a bonus.
