My daughter is 9 and I'm looking for more modern books for her that aren't graphic novels. She finishes the graphic novels too quickly and wants a regular chapter book. However, it seems like all I can find are the old school books I read when I was a kid – Ramona books, Judy Blume, etc. She prefers the contemporary books for girls of that age, like Dork Diaries, New Girl, the Smile series, etc, but I can't find any that have that vibe but aren't graphic novels. Any suggestions?
