Hello! My friends and I are doing a reading challenge this year where we read through the alphabet by author last name- and I cannot for the life of me find an X I am excited about (or one, in general). Generally I enjoy fast paced non fiction that tells wild stories, horror of any kind, dark mystery’s, speculative fiction, sci fi and some mild fantasy. I am not into romance as a genre, and don’t want anything too slow that is meant to make me cry. Help!!!!

The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Although, really, it was written by Alex Haley based on interviews with Malcolm.
There are plenty of Chinese authors whose family names start with X. I’m not well-read enough in them to make a recommendation.
