I enjoy seasonal reading, especially in fall. Last year around this time I read the Exorcist and 1922 by King. I like horror novels that aren’t overly fantastical. I prefer themes of dark psychology, hauntings, other-worldly beings in our world, and other spiritual themes (which is why I liked reading the Exorcist so much). Should I just read the sequel to that, or does anyone have another recommendation? I’ve tried a couple Grady Hendrix books in years past and they just weren’t my preference.
(Btw, I’m in seminary for grad school and do a lot of reading for that so I don’t get to enjoy fiction too often anymore. Because of that I like to make it count when I do carve out the time for fiction. Thanks folks!)
