I had the opportunity to hear Barbara Kingsolver speak when she was on tour for Demon Copperhead. I have been saving the book so I can choose it for book club. One of our members has a request: no dead babies. And by dead babies she means children age 16 or under. Without giving any spoilers about who it is, or what happens, does Demon Copperhead have dead babies?
