Hey yall! Vulnerability in the USA:

I have a very narrow view of politics/justice warrior complex. I find it extremely difficult to engage politically with those with differing views than me. While I'm not ashamed of my standpoint, I do feel hypocritical advocating for others rights when I harbor so many negative feelings. I just don't feel like I have the necessary tools to engage in a meaningful conversation that doesn't immediately dissolve into attitude/sarcasm. I want to broaden my viewpoints. Not to sway my opinion, but to attempt to reach some sort of understanding with others. I know I'm not alone in my feelings of complete chaos, but it does feel isolating.

I don't even know if something like this exists.

Please suggest to me a nonfiction book that deals with those with opposing viewpoints working together for the greater good or books about leaders who strategies derived from all viewpoints of an issue. I could also be looking for nonbiased nonfiction regarding US policy and process.

    Thank you!!!
