I'm looking for a few book suggestions for my 11 year old son, he is an advanced reader who will devour any book that interests him. The problem is finding things that interest him. He's read all the usual age appropriate books: Hatchet, Holes, Percy Jackson. Though he enjoyed them, he was kind of "meh", so I'm looking for something that rolls in his other interests, mainly antiques (mostly 1900-1940s) and old technology. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Has he read any of the [Dear America](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dear_America) or [My Name is America](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Name_Is_America) books?
I wonder if he might enjoy steampunk. Kenneth Oppal’s books come to mind.
Domonic Sandbrook has written several novels of sort of historical action for younger kids.
The Invention of Hugo Cabret takes place in 1930s Paris and a lot of it is about clockwork mechanisms.
