Late 60's loved Where The Crawdad Sings, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy and the Six/
Loved Beautiful Bright Beautiful Creatures and Horse.
She is going on a trip on a private yacht (I wish I was) and needs a good read.
Romance is great if it's well written and not smut.
Think the best book you've read recently that you'd recommend to your mom.
Any ideas?

Anything by Kristin Hannah or Liane Moriarty are well written
definitely The Life Impossible by Matt Haig.
She would probably like Kristen Hannah
Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See (my mom actually recommended this one to me)
Olive Kitteridge -Elizabeth Strout. A series of inter-connected stories that take place in a Maine town that weave in and out of the titular character’s life. Fits right in with the other books you mentioned.
She would like Kristen Hannah’s books. Four Winds and the Great Alone in particular.
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
The Women of Chateau Lafayette by Stephanie Dray
Most definitely The Red Tent
