Does any one have any suggestions of books that have very well done plots but also a humor to them? I really like fantasy, but I'm perfectly find with any genre (though I'm not too fond of most romances).
Some of my favorite books and examples of these are: The Lies of Locke Lamora, Good Omens, The Princess Bride, and Johannes Cabal the Necromancer.

I’m part way through Clarke’s Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, and it has been incredibly funny thus far. Really well written.

    2. Christopher Moore. ‘Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal’, ‘Sacre Bleu’, and ‘Island of the Sequined Love Nun’ could be right up this particular alley.

    3. Though none of his work is fantasy, Tom Sharpe was one of the funniest authors who ever wrote in English. Porterhouse Blue has a particularly cunning plot. I also highly recommend Wilt, it’s sequel The Wilt Alternative, and Riotous Assembly and it’s sequel Indecent Exposure.
