not spies or codebreakers, not nurses or women on the front lines. just what life was like for ordinary women whose husbands or brothers were away at war, and how they managed during this time. i'm also interested in reading about the struggles of mothers trying to raise children during this time, or women working in factories or shipyards, or how the need for community was impacted for women.
