Helloooo! Last time I posted here, I had a lot of luck with recs (and a huge thank you again to everyone who helped!)
I was too late for the kickstarter of the Trench Crusade game, but the lore has gripped me hard and until the book comes out, I’m dying for something in that same vibe. Doesn’t need to be necessarily about war! I’m thinking the movie Priest (yeah, that weird vampire one) has a similar vibe too and I don’t know anything kinda like that. There’s the 40k books, I guess? But I’m thinking more “earth based”.
Alternatively, anything that reminds you of the Dredge game would also be welcome! I read Lovecraft (just about everything) and The Fisherman (did not expect to love that book so much).
