Suggest me a book with the feel of an early-1970s dystopian movie.

I am not looking for novelizations, but for Science Fiction books that have the same bleak, hopeless, weird feel as 1970s dystopian movies like Soylent Green, Rollerball, Silent Running, Z.P.G. Logan's Run (Nolan adaption) The Last Days of Man on Earth (Moorcock adaption), A Boy and His Dog (Ellison adaption), even real weird ones like Zardoz. The books can be published at any time between the 1950s and the present.
