i’m reading dead romantics by ashley poston right now, not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for since it does have some romance in it but the main character is so relatable in terms of losing any belief in love and the book is pretty funny so far. it’s also not really a traditional romance since the love interest is a ghost. it’s lighthearted and quirky but does touch on some serious topics like grief.

Dungeon Crawler Carl. Carl has just gone through a breakup when the aliens arrive and repurpose Earth into a Hunger Games style dungeon system to be live streamed across the galaxy. All Carl has left is his ex-girlfriends cat Princess Donut. It has a good mix of humour and the audiobook is excellent.
