I've gotten into gundam lately and I've come to really like the setting and world and was looking to get back into reading more, so I was wondering if there were any books/series of books that could scratch that same itch. To be clear, it doesn't have to have mecha at all it's mainly the setting and world I'm looking for.
Specifically, I'm looking for:
1. No aliens. Idk why, but I'm just less of a fan of sci-fi with aliens in it.
2. Small scale (limited to the solar system or even just the earth/moon) with no ftl
3. Space colonies (humans living on massive artificial satellites)
Not required, but nice to have:
1. A war
2. Some sort of conflict between earth and the space colonies
3. Hard sci-fi elements
