Here’s one for the readers and boozers:
You walk into a cozy little bar for a drink or two after a tough day at work—a pint, a glass of wine, a cocktail, or something non-alcoholic if that’s your tipple. As you’re choosing somewhere to sit, perhaps the little table by the window, you come across a bookshelf that stops you in your tracks. And you think, You know, I wouldn’t mind sitting down and relaxing with a book. Maybe you find that old classic you never got around to reading, or that title your buddies have been recommending you pick up for months, or maybe, just maybe, you get lucky and find that new release you’re dying to read but can’t afford, because here you are, mid-week, spending your hard-earned cash on booze.
With this in mind, what book would you hope to find wedged into that bar bookshelf? There are no wrong answers, so gimme whatever comes to mind.
Note: non-fiction is good too, but I was only allowed to choose one mandatory tag.
