I haven't read a fiction mystery novel since high school, just tons of true crime and other genres. I'm looking for inspiration as I plan on writing a mystery for National Novel Writing Month.
Give me your absolute favorites and must reads. I do enjoy classics and was a massive Nancy Drew fan as a child so bonus points for female protagonists.
Edit: I'm writing an amateur detective mystery BUT your suggestions do not need to be exact – looking for your favorites as I want to be inspired by compelling writing, not just a single subgenre.

Mystery is a *really big* umbrella genre with *tons* of subgenres. Maybe tell us a bit more about what kind of mystery you want to read or plan to write (cozy, thriller, detective, police, amateur, standalone, historical, fantasy elements, etc.)
Here are some mystery series I love:
The Spellman Files
Stephanie Plum
Kinsey Millhone
Finley Donovan
Flavia de Luce
Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency
Mary Russell
The Cat Who
Anna Pigeon
Kate Burkholder
Walt Longmire
Leaphorn & Chee
Leaphorn, Chee, & Manuelito
Bosch
Lincoln Lawyer
Renee Ballard
Alex Delaware
Decker/Lazerus
Myron Bolitar
Eve Ronin
Sharpe & Walker
Dave Robicheaux
Sounds like you’ve read classics, but here are some of those I’ve liked too:
Amelia Peabody
Lord Peter Whimsey
Miss Marple
Poirot
