Dissapointed with Piranesi. Something more complex?
At first I found the chapters dense, but i ended up enjoying the atmosphera. But the twist and resolution were so simple that at first I thought my Kindle malfunctioned and that I was just at the middle of the book when it ended.

Yeah it’s really overrated. People seem to just like it for the vibe

I loved this because I felt it was one of the better encapsulations of feeling out of sync in time and space with people I get from having me/cfs. Which makes sense because Susanna Clarke also has me/CFS. The memory issues reminded me of life with severe brain fog. It absolutely worked for me but I completely understand why it wouldn’t for others

I mean the Starless Sea is similar in some ways but its not about a twist with these two books so maybe you need to look in another direction
