hello! i just finished up Don't Let The Forest In (C.G. Drews) and it has become an instant favorite of mine. specifically, the poetic depictions of the co-dependant leads really stuck with me.
now that i've finished the book and i am eagerly awaiting the author's next book coming out this month, i am dying for anything close to it relationship-wise.
here is some of my other criteria:
-
i'm more into horror with a relationship subplot than dark romance, but i'm willing to listen to dark romance recs
-
would prefer something with not a ton of nsfw, if any, but will accept recs with a warning
-
lgbtq+ is preferred
-
i prefer more whimsical and atmospheric books
-
i have a pretty strong stomach for most horror tropes. in DLTFI, one of my favorite parts of the book was the use of gore and spooky imagery to represent obsession and codependency
thanks for your help!
