Hey there. I am looking for suggestions for my next book. I have a 14hr drive coming up so viable (free) audiobooks would be welcome too.
Recent books I have enjoyed:
• Dune
• The Green Mile
• Enders Game
• Lord of the Rings
• The Three Body Problem (the second two books in the trilogy are on my list)
I also recently read The Death of Us which was interesting as it was very different than the books I normally read.
I clearly enjoy fiction, specifically sci-fi and world building. I’m not opposed to other types of books as I’d like to expand my horizons as well.
I have recently tried to get back into reading and make it part of my daily routine. Being forced to read books in high school initially drove me away from reading in general and being busy w school and life (phone addiction too) I haven’t really gotten back into it until recently.
I’ve come to realize I was not put off by reading itself but rather being forced to do it and with books that didn’t really grab my attention. I earned an engineering degree in college so the most reading I did for that was obscure solution manuals online trying to learn how to do problems. There was my intro to poetry class but I didn’t get into that either haha. Now that I am out of college I have much more time and want to incorporate more reading into my days.
Anyway enough rambling I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
