The book “Don’t believe everything you think” really helped me with anxiety. I need a book to help someone with the loss of a child and grief. A book that helps the parents grieve and continue moving forward with life.
If you are open to fiction, Monstrilio is a really beautiful meditation on grief, specifically the loss of a child. It’s billed as a horror but I absolutely do not think it is the author’s intention for the book to be scary (nor is it scary). It’s about a couple who loses their child and end up ‘resurrecting’ him from a piece of his lung. I read it several years ago and still think about and recommend it all the time.
