In my hometown people are trying to get books banned at our local library. Someone posted a video saying there was graphic and explicit sexual material being performed by minors in 2 said books he held up but only showed the back and didn’t say what the title was or anything and personally I just don’t believe him so I want to find out for myself. I tried looking everywhere I could but couldn’t find it so maybe y’all can help?
In the video all you can see is the back of the book saying in yellow text “don’t have sex or you will get pregnant and die” then is says in bigger blue text “SO NOT TRUE!” The book looks like a darkish blue color but that’s all I can tell.

I know it’s not a lot to go off of but Reddit has done crazier things lol. Maybe someone has read it and knows.
Ask the local librarians.
Can you include the image of the book?
There may be other telling information like publisher, ISBN, copyright etc
Perhaps The Pregnancy Project by Gaby Rodriguez, a young adult non-fiction book published in 2012. She faked a pregnancy in her senior year (with fake growing baby bump) to shed light on how pregnant teens are treated and perceived,
Asking for a friend right? xD
Odd, that quote sounds like it came directly from the film ***”Mean Girls”*** (2004). It’s a pretty famous film. I suppose it could have been a novelization? Wikipedia mentions [at least two](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mean_Girls#Novels) existing.
It’s just BS.
Almost every school library system in the US has a system where parents can prevent their own child from checking out any particular book or class of books. The banners want to control the reading habits of other parents children.
