Hi everyone!
I’m a few letters short of my 2025 A-Z challenge and I’m looking for horror books that start with U, Y, and/or D. I prefer horror as it’s Halloween season but I’m open to thrillers as well.
Are you disregarding the word “the” at the beginnings of titles? If so, and if an anthology will work for you, I recommend “The Dangers of Smoking in Bed,” by Mariana Enriquez.

*Usher’s Passing* by Robert R. McCammon is a good sequel to/fanfic of “The Fall of the House of Usher.”
*You Like It Darker* is a Stephen King short story anthology that came out last year.

Here’s one of each for you; these are two horror books and an alternate history/thriller about the end of the world (maybe):
* *The Damnation Game*, a horror novel by Clive Barker (not as well known as say *Books of Blood*, but one of my favorites by him)
* *The Uncanny Valley: Tales from a Lost Town*, a horror story collection by Gregory Miller
* *The Yiddish Policemen’s Union* by Michael Chabon, which of course by the process of elimination must be the alternate history/thriller about the end of the world … maybe

The Unmothers. It’s on my TBR but it’s what I’m using for my ‘U’ in my alphabet challenge.
