So my graduation project is going to be basically picking a novel of my choice, and creating a cinematic visual for it, i need at least 3/4 locations in the novel, with good description, and i want it to have like a location or two that are weird or unusual, in a visual manner, (not just a house with a witch living in it for example), and also I don't want endless cities or seas or forests just described, i need actual places (a palace, a house, a portal, a market, etc..) now I don't want sci fi as much as im leaning more towards fantasy and more traditional fiction, although I won't mind a mix of both, i think it'd be a great contrast
Now i do have a request for it to be a standalone so I'm able to gather all the info in a short time
It can range from a fairytale to a horror story it doesn't matter just as long as its got good contrasting locations
And yes i looked a lot on the internet but the location parts is always missing and ai sucks.
Help would be appreciated, the deadline for choosing a novel is super soon😭

Hannes Bok’s Beyond the Golden Stair.
There’s enough heavily described locations to fit the quota and then some. It’s just over 200 pages, and a relatively older book, but there should be digital copies available.
