you know, unexplained mysteries, supernatural horror, even aliens and stuff but it's all explained from an "unreliable narrator" (?) if I understand that correctly
like someone who just find themselves in a shitty situation, survive, and retell the story, but doesn't really know wtf is going on either
of course it doesn't have to be on that similar perspective or POV, just books that may fit the vibe of /r/nosleep
maybe as a disclaimer,
1 – I'm not an avid reader (though I read lots of comics) and currently trying to reignite my love for books that aren't comics.
2 – english is like my 3rd language (2.5th? my 2nd language is more like a dialect rather than 100% a whole new language) so my reading comprehension is probably… a bit lower than what you might expect; in the past I like a lot of books aimed at younger audience like Percy Jackson series and The Ranger's Apprentice series. Doesn't meant that I can't consume more complex stuffs, but maybe not something on the level of Lord of the Rings (gods that was a hard read, I'm sorry but I've tried several times and can't get into it)
