I'm looking for book suggestions that might help me understand myself better, and to help a partner understand how to navigate being in a relationship with me. I have c-PTSD from growing up in a household where I was emotionally and psychologically neglected and abused, and I'm realizing in my 30s that I never really knew what safety felt like until just a couple years ago when I was with someone who did make me feel safe. I'm still just getting started myself in unraveling all of these things for myself, so are they any books out there to help me understand myself, or that I can give to a partner while I'm still in the process of unraveling things?
